Company history

We've been around for the last 40 years in one form or another and some of our clients have been with us through it all. Although we've diversified and evolved, we've continued to have marketing goals at the core of what we do.

Then digital came along. So we introduced our email arm in 2001, Database Group Interactive.

More recently we've seen the introduction of even more marketing channels and data feeds. We've diversified and grown with our clients' needs to deliver a full range of marketing solutions. We now trade under the name dbg delivering a wide range and marketing and database solutions to the market.
Milestones in our history:

• During 1990s acquired by Experian1997 acquired as part of the one to one communications group

• 2001 Database Group Investments formed to build interactive marketing services group

• 2001 Mailcom plc acquired (transactional data processing and mailing)
  

• 2001 email marketing services division formed

• 2004 database management and emarketing services company separated from Mailcom plc (Database Group Interactive)

• 2006 Mailcom plc sold (retained data and email services business)

• 2006 The Database Group Limited acquired

• 2010 The Database Group, and Database Group Interactive rebranded as one trading group: dbg
